Wyler Genève takes its environmental responsibility seriously. Setting what will hopefully become a trend among watch brands, Wyler Genève became the first Swiss watch brand to receive certification from the UK’s The CarbonNeutral Company after a detailed analysis of the brand’s carbon footprint.
This important step is the first in a series of measures that Wyler Genève is implementing to maintain a consistent approach to environmental awareness in all its activities. It was soon followed by the company’s first CarbonNeutral® event – the launch of the Wyler-Zagato watch at the Atelier Zagato in Milan – and will continue with steps to make Wyler Genève timepieces themselves CarbonNeutral.
As a dynamic brand Wyler Genève is growing rapidly and will therefore review its carbon footprint on an annual basis to ensure that its carbon emissions are fully offset. To date, Wyler Genève has offset carbon emissions for the operations from its headquarters in Geneva and its events through projects in the fields of reforestation (in Brittany, France) and hydropower (in Guizhou province, China).
